It's a very lightweight plugin which shows a welcome message to visitors based on time. Works fine if the theme has non-black pale background.
No need to edit settings or do something else. Only PlugIn activation is enough to bring change for whole website.
Just go to Appearance > Widgets, and drag 'Stopwatch matching any theme' to any widgetized area like sidebar or footer.
